Subscriptions & free trial

Crak Dot Bam is a paid, auto-renewing subscription. There is no permanent free tier — after any free trial, continued use requires a paid subscription. The currently planned plans are:

New subscribers start with a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and your store account is charged the plan price. Subscriptions then renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Final prices are shown, and your consent to the recurring charge is confirmed, on the purchase screen in the App Store or Google Play before you buy.

All billing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through your store account. We never see or process your card, and prices, trials, taxes, and any offer codes are applied by the store. Some players may receive an offer code for a reduced price; you redeem it in the App Store or Google Play. A free-trial offer is only available to new subscribers, once per account, unless the store states otherwise.

Manage or cancel your subscription

You manage, change, or cancel your subscription — and request a refund from the store — through your store account, not inside the app:

• iPhone / iPad: open App Store account → Subscriptions, or Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Android: open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Because Apple and Google process the payment, any refund is subject to Apple’s or Google’s own policies and is not guaranteed, and we can’t directly issue a platform refund. On iPhone / iPad, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, use Google Play’s refund process. We’re happy to help you sort one out — email support@crakdotbam.app.

Restore a purchase

New device, or reinstalled the app? Open Settings in the app and choose Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with. If you don’t see the option, make sure you’re on the latest version, or email support@crakdotbam.app and we’ll help.

Delete your account

You can permanently delete your account and its data from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@crakdotbam.app. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed. (Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription — cancel that separately using the steps above.)

Report objectionable content or a player

We don’t tolerate abusive names or content. In the app you can report a name, team name, or note, and block a player, anywhere those appear. Reports go to our moderation queue, and we aim to act on credible reports within 24 hours — removing the violating content and/or ejecting the responsible user. Common questions

What is Crak Dot Bam?

A live-play companion for American Mahjong: it reads your tiles from a photo, scores your hand against your card, and helps with the Charleston, hand-matching, and discards. It supports both the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) and American Mah Jongg Society (AMS) cards. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Mah Jongg League or the American Mah Jongg Society, and it does not include or reproduce any printed card.

How do I sign in?

With Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. If sign-in isn’t working, make sure you’re on the latest version and reach us at support@crakdotbam.app.

What’s the minimum age?

You must be at least 13 to use Crak Dot Bam, and the app is not directed to children under 13. If you are between 13 and 17 (or under the age of majority where you live), you may use it only with a parent or guardian’s consent and supervision. Because this is a paid product billed through a store account, any purchase by a minor is also subject to the store’s family-purchase controls (such as Apple Family Sharing “Ask to Buy” or Google Family). Some features are 18+ — in particular Game Night (group scheduling and its notes thread). A parent or guardian with questions, or who wants a child’s account or data removed, can reach us at privacy@crakdotbam.app.

I lost my backgrounds or progress

Make sure you’re signed in to the same account you used before — your stats, friends, and saved backgrounds are tied to your account. If something still looks missing, email support@crakdotbam.app and we’ll help recover it.

Is this gambling?

No. Crak Dot Bam is a skill-and-strategy training companion for American Mahjong. There is no wagering and no real-money play.
